Swallow Barn
Located on the edge of a conservation area in a small Somerset village, this project attempts to correct a number of insensitive alterations to an historic barn. By removing extensions from the seventies we will return the building back to much of its original state, at the same time inserting a contemporary addition within the centre of the house.
Made from Corten steel, Douglas fir and Concrete, our proposal creates a new entrance and boot room, separating sleeping and living quarters, as well as improving links to the garden.
The project is due to start on site in Summer 2022.
