JAMIE FOBERT ARCHITECTS
George was Project Architect on three successive phases of design and construction at Selfridges London between 2012 and 2016. The first phase was the £10 million Women’s Shoe department that created 2000sqm of high-end retail space over six salons, as well as housing boutiques for leading brands. Phases 2 and 3 covered the East and West wings of the department and accommodated Women’s fashion.
The images here show a small selection of the work, including bespoke furniture made from alabaster, pewter and shoe-lasts, as well as fitting-rooms dressed in walnut, brass and velvet.
