Dairy Farm, Somerset

Bindloss Dawes were commissioned by the owner of a Somerset dairy farm to investigate the redevelopment of its buildings and land.

Our proposal included alternative strategies of demolition, restoration and new-build construction, and considered how different uses and densities could be adopted on the site. The study looked at different approaches to the landscape, with hard and soft finishes, and how the regular flooding of the stream could be incorporated into the landscape design.
